This story highlights the history of how farmers used to harvest peanuts. 'Shocking' peanuts is a highly manual method of drying peanuts and is a lost art. Elisha is doing his best to preserve the tradition. We partnered with him and purchased his crop to cook using our unique recipe. This is the story of our partnership."

Elisha Barnes will be a speaker at the 2024 Virginia Farm-to-Table Conference in December. He will share about his family's "single origin" peanut story and long-time relationship with Hubbard's Peanuts. Samples of the "single origin" peanuts will be displayed and available for attendees to consume during the conference.
